Strauss Iscar 72 Nis Vojvodina 64

From the very beginning the game between Ironi and Nis Vojvodina was tight. At the end of the game the visitors almost came back from a 13-point deficit but Strauss was able to hold them down and took the win 72-64.

Nahariya dominated the first quarter and had an early 8-point lead after 5 minutes. At the end of the first quarter the Israelis increased their lead to eleven points (28-17).  Smith led the scores with 7 points, finishing the quarter with 28:17.

The second quarter was pretty even and so both teams entered with a 10-point advantage for Strauss into the third period. After the half time break Novi Sad narrowed the gap by five consecutive 3-pointers and was just four points behind after 30 minutes (55-51).

An 8-2 run at the beginning of the last quarter gave Nahariya an reassuring 11-point lead but Nenad Canak brought his team back into the game and five minutes to go Vojvodina was just three points behind. But Strauss kept cool and held their opponents down winning this important game 72-64. Both teams now have eight wins and three losses.
