The home team got off to a good start, Nahariya taking a 15-11 lead after a few minutes. Outstanding for Nahariya were Barak Peleg and Stevin Smith, while Vadym Pudzyrey from Odessa put on an excellent performance. Smith led a Nahariya 15:0 run adding 9 consecutive points of his own to end the first quarter 29-15 for the Israeli club.

The second quarter started with points from Yosef Dadon and again Smith, who raised the score difference to 51-26. Smith later injured his shoulder muscle and had to be replaced by Peleg, who continued the trend set by his injured team-mate. The first half ended 58-34.

In the third quarter Nahariya's lead grew to a gap of 29 points (78-49). Even a time-out by the Odessa team couldn´t put a break in Naharyia's rhythm and the quarter ended in a 91-52.
The final quarter was completely dominated by the Naharyia team, which played only with Israeli players and who ended the game with more than 40 points difference (112-69).
