Siroki had a huge 91-80 win tonight over Telindus, which greatly increased their chances to advance to the quarterfinals of this year’s FIBA Europe League.
In the first quarter the visitors from Belgium played well and after 10 minutes led by five points (19-24).
But after the first break the home team took control of the game. Only the two US-Americans Tony Dorsey and Joseph Beard kept Oostende from going under, however, some successful three-pointers from Siroki destroyed their final hopes.
Both teams now have won 5 out of ten games and are ranked fourth and fifth respectively. With two games to play both teams are still very hopeful of reaching the next round.
