Oostende and Dickel go separate ways

Telindus Oostende and point guard Mark Dickel have decided to part and go their own separate ways.
Although Dickel was playing well, both parties decided that staying in Oostende was not the best option for either.

Dickel will now look around for another team, and already a couple of clubs have shown some interest.

Telindus immediately started looking for a replacement point guard, which they have found in Jason Garnder. Gardner started this season for Euroleague team Krka Novo Mesto but was released on November 18th following the arrival of a new head coach.

From 1999/2000 till 2002/2003 Gardner played for NCAA Div I University of Arizona, averaging 14,8 points, 4 rebounds, 4,9 assists and 1,8 steals per game in his last season.

The American point guard is due to arrive in Oostende before the end of this week and should be eligible to play in the important game against fellow FEL club Dexia Mons this coming Saturday in Oostende.
