David Noel and Roanne Basket won for the first time in the EuroChallenge Last 16 with a 76-53 demolition of Banvit BC.

Noel led the way with 21 points and eight rebounds.

Roanne took command in this contest with a 15-0 run bridging the first and second quarters to lead 26-12.

Noel made two free-throws and Nicholas Lewis added a three-point play to start the spurt.

After going to half-time with a 31-22 lead, Roanne padded the advantage by outscoring Banvit 22-16 in the third quarter and they pulled away for a decisive win over the last 10 minutes.

Charles Davis had 11 points and six boards for Banvit, who lost for the second time in the Last 16.
