Serbia Too Much For Estonia
Serbia had no suspense by blowing out Estonia 76-41 in improving to 1-1 in Group B.
Filip Sepa scored all 19 of his points in the first half while Nenad Grujo had 10 points. Six other players from Miroslav Nikolic's team hit at least five points.
Rain Veideman paced the Estonians with nine points.
Sepa turned the first quarter into his own show as he scored 13 of Serbia's first 23 points as Nikolic's side went on a 17-2 run to close the period ahead 23-7.
Estonia slowly tried to get back into the game and trimmed the deficit to 13 points on a couple of occasions, including Kristjan Penjam's four-point play for a 34-21 scoreline. But Serbia continued to pour it on and led 43-22 at the break.
Estonia's Kristjan Rinaldo hit a foul shot to make it 47-26 before Serbia put the game away for good with a 15-4 run to lead 62-30 going into the fourth.
And the defending champions continued to pour it on, increasing the lead to as many as 37 points in the fourth quarter.
