The Netherlands sprung a big upset at the U18 European Championship for Men Division B in Hungary on Monday.
The Netherlands tasted victory for the first time in the European Championship Men, Division B, by winning 88-65 over Montenegro - the same team that had been so impressive 24 hours earlier against the Czech Republic.
Mohammed Kherrazi and Ken Schröder each poured in 16 points for the Dutch, who improved to 1-2. Montenegro (2-2) got 18 points from Filip Barovic.
In the other Group A game, the Czechs (2-1) bounced back from Sunday's setback and destroyed Norway 101-63. The Norwegians have lost all three of the games they have played.
In Group B, impressive Slovenia rolled to a third straight win with a 94-42 victory over Ireland (0-3).
Sweden (2-1) prevailed 79-68 over Switzerland, a side that has now lost two straight after opening the tournament with a pair of wins.
In Group C, Belarus finally beat a team by upsetting England 72-67. The eastern European side had lost their opening three games but maintained their focus to beat the British side.
Portugal (2-1) also clinched their second success with an 88-63 drubbing of Romania (1-2).
Hosts Hungary (1-2) claimed their first win with a 76-64 triumph over Denmark (2-2) and Georgia (2-1) pulled off a minor upset by edging Slovakia 85-79.
The Slovakians are now 2-1.
