Poland, Sweden Score Big Wins


Poland scored at least 30 points in every quarter as they demolished Armenia 141-33 in Group B of the U18 European Championship Division B in Sofia.

They peaked in the third, outscoring Armenia 41-6 to storm to the top of the pool with a 2-1 record.

Sweden (2-0) are in second place after their 62-46 triumph against the Netherlands.

Belgium maintained their fine start to the tournament with a 74-57 win over Denmark in Group A.

The Belgians top the group with a 3-0 record, ahead of Austria, who slipped to a 80-72 defeat against the Slovak Republic to move to 1-2 overall.

Ukraine (3-0) top Group C after a 65-41 win over Switzerland while Bosnia and Herzegovina go second with a 2-0 record after seeing off Luxembourg 95-78.

Finally, in Group D, Montenegro (2-0) have joined Hungary at the head of the standings after thrashing Portugal 95-62.

Norway (1-2) are third after beating winless England 83-59.
