Russia: Golemac Leads Ural Great To Finals

Ural Great advanced to the EuroCup Challenge finals following a convincing 84-65 victory over Olympia last night in Perm, Russia and won the two-game series by a combined score of 165-136.

Jurica Golemac led the way for Ural Great with 17 and five assists.

Terrell Lyday added 15, while Derrick Alston and Vasily Karasev each contributed 13.

The Russian club got off to a quick start and took control of the game in each of the first two quarters and led by 20 points at halftime, 45-25.

Ural Great will now take on Khimik in the finals beginning on 16 March in Yuzhny, Ukraine.

Khimik advanced after closing out Lappeenranta 159-110 in the their two-game semi-finals matchup.
