GAME REPORTTonight in Group C of the FIBA Europe Cup Men, Dalkia Nybit was on the road to take on MBC Odessa. The game started out strong on both defensive ends, and therefore most of the offensive attacks were unsuccessful.
In the sixth minute of play thanks to Rauno Pehka, the guests took a momentary lead. However with Tencho Banev's help the home team led 19-17 at the end of the quarter.
Early in the second quarter, Sergey Stepanenkov of Dalkia posted back-to-back three-pointers to bring the game even at 28-28. The home team with active play by Oleksandr Okunskyy, Andriy Drugachonok, and Yaroslav Zubrytskyy finished out the half ahead by 11 points (50-39).
Sharp-shooter, Igor Kurashov, opened up the second half of play for Dalkia with a three-pointer. This was immediately answered by Oleg Tkach's three-point shot.
In the fourth quarter when Odessa's lead was over 20 points, Coach Pudzyrey put the reserves on to play out the rest of the game. In the end the home team won convincingly 87-72.
