Fersped Rabotnicki 91 – Fenerbahce 87

A huge surprise was the win of Fersped Rabotnicki against the big favorite Fenerbahce in over-time 91-87.

Skopje was able to maintain the lead almost the whole game thanks to their excellent three-point shots.  After ten minutes the Macedonians had their biggest advantage (27-14).

		Victor King (Fenerbahce) is scoring to points. Nevertheless his team lost to Fersped Rabotnicki

Especially Toni Simik, Dejan Jovanovski and Riste Stefanov helped Fersped to keep the gap until the 37th minute when the Turks made use of their first opportunity to get the lead.

A three-pointer by Simik was answered by 2 points of Erkan Veyseloglu for the tie (79-79) and the game was sent to over-time.

There the home team regained a 6-point advantage in the first two minutes and kept the lead until the final whistle. With this win Fersped achieved its first triumph in this year’s FIBA Europe Cup.
