Cyprus and Andorra maintained their perfect records to reach the final in the U16 European Championship Women Division C.
In the first semi-final Cyprus used a crushing defensive effort to limit Malta to just 14 points. Cyprus held a 23-8 lead at half-time and never allowed Malta to get close.
Eleanna Christinaki led Cyprus with a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds. Maria Nearchou also contributed 5 steals.
The second game saw higher scoring as Andorra and the Principality of Monaco reached half-time at 25-22, a small lead for Andorra.
But Andorra then held the Monaco team scoreless for the first 7:14 after the break, a 21-0 run breaking the match open.
Cristina Andres Rabasa (8 steals) and Marta Aguilera Vicente (9 steals) caused problems for the Monaco team, while Claudia Guri Moreno helped herself to a huge double-double, with 20 points and 27 rebounds.
