Beth Mackie led Scotland to victory in the opening game of the U16 European Championship for Women Divicion C campaign as they beat the Principality of Monaco 66-37.
Scotland raced into a 19-6 lead before Monaco found their feet and began to hold their own.
With Scotland's lead only nine, 45-36, going into the final quarter, it could still have gone either way.
But the final period was a blow out as Scotland moved through the gears.
Claire Paxton had 13 points and 17 rebounds, while Sarah Thomson also scored 13 points.
Alexandra Franetti led Monaco with 11 points.
In Group B, Andorra opened with a 51-31 win over Gibraltar as Meirtxell Tarroch Martinez scored 16 points.
