Monika Jasnowska poured in 20 points as hosts Poland returned to the winning column at the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women with a 69-41 victory over Belarus.
Ramona Cossengue Casimiro added eight points, 12 rebounds and five assists as Poland secured third place in the Qualifying Round Group F with a 3-2 record.

Paulina Kuras scored 11 points and Kinga Bandyk had 16 rebounds for Andrzej Curyl's side, which out-rebounded Belarus 64-41 and held them to 21 percent shooting.
Valiansina Sivaplia tallied 10 points for Belarus, who dropped to 0-5 in the group. Krystsina Novikava collected nine points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort.
Belarus trailed just 4-3 early before Jasnowska scored 10 points in Poland's 17-2 surge to finish the first quarter ahead 21-5. Casimiro pushed the advantage to 21 points early in the second but it was back down to 17 after back-to-back triples by Aliaksandra Shymkaviak. Poland, however, increased the lead to 39-17 at the break.
Viktoriya Datsun's Belarus team was unable to make inroads into the margin and it was still 22 points at 44-22 before a 7-2 run as Poland were ahead 51-24 after three periods. After Kuras's basket increased the advantage to 31 points early in the fourth, Novikava and Sivaplia tried to make the final result more respectable, cutting it to 60-37. But Belarus would get no closer the rest of the way.
