Anastasiya Shilova scored 12 points and fellow bench player Veronika Dorosheva added 10 as Russia's reserves guided Russia to a 63-44 victory over Hungary in the games for 5th-8th Place at the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women.

The Russian bench players out-scored the first five 34-29 with Alexandra Tarasova the only starter with 10 points or more.

Russia will face the winner between Sweden and Latvia for fifth place on Sunday.

Russia, who were disappointed not having made the semi-finals, began to pull away from Hungary in the second quarter and the lead was 13 points late in the third quarter.

And a 10-0 fourth quarter push put the game away for good.

Dominika Gergely scored 14 points for Hungary while Dorottya Tamis Tamis had nine points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort.

The Hungarians, who dropped to 4-3, will play the loser of Sweden-Latvia for seventh place.
