There's no doubt whose in the spotlight on the Israeli team. The first ever player out of Israel to be picked and play in the WNBA after the New York Liberty drafted her with the 16th pick in 2007. She spent four years at the University of Maryland that were nothing short of sensational. In 2006 she led the school to a glorious season by winning the NCAA championship title. She was the co-top scorer of her team in the finals. Her list of honours from those four years is endless. After a WNBA season she joined Ramla and won a championship and cup title in addition to a spot in the EuroCup Women semi-finals playing a star role on the team. This season showed her ability to dominate in EuroLeague Women as well with Besiktas, a campaign that earned her a spot in the EuroLeague Women All Star game. She was the top scorer of the U20 division B games in 2005 when Israel won the first spot and Doron scored 24.7 points per game. Nevertheless, being the top player of Israel, Doron will have to bring that to the court in Latvia. Her first EuroBasket Women performance, two years ago, was a bit of disappointment, as she didn't find her rhythm. In the key game against Latvia she had a unique night with zero points. Her staring performance in the qualifying round for 2009, where she was once again unstoppable with 20.5 points per contest, was good for the third spot in the top scorers list of the phase.
