PLAYER HISTORY
Lucila Pascua

Career: Segle XXI (Spain-1ª Nacional, 1999-2001), Mann Filter Zaragoza (Spain-LF, 2001-05), Acis Incosa León (Spain-LF, 2005-09).

Lucila, nicknamed Lucy, earned a call up to the national team too soon. Historic European player Betty Cebrian was ready to retire and the national team coaches turned their focus to Pascua to try to get her some national team experience and make her transition to the big stage easier. There has been a lot of pressure on Pascua and her fans and the media have talked too much at what she could have been instead of highlighting her impressive post defence and rebounding skills.
