Finland head into the U16 European Championship for Women with some serious momentum only a year after making their debut Division A last summer.
During a long build up to the tourmanent in Greece, coach Ilpo Rantanen's group reeled off no less than 11 straight victories before Turkey ended their run in Tampere.
During their run, Finland knocked off Estonia, Belarus and Lithuania in a series of tournaments, and Rantanen was delighted with how things went.
"We have played all the time against tougher teams," Rantanen said. "Turkey gave us a shock because they were so much better than Lithuania.
"But these games have shown us what we need to do, and when we get to Greece we will see how far we have come."
Finland have been drawn in Group A in Greece and will face Russia, Sweden and Lithuania.
