Slovenia, Greece, Romania and the Netherlands all won on Thursday - the first day of the Qualifying Round for first to eighth place at the U16 European Championship Division B.

Greece prevailed over hosts Bulgaria 55-46 and Slovenia clinched a 68-59 victory over Denmark.

Christina Navrozidou had 16 points for the Greeks in their win that has given them a 2-0 mark in Group E.

Rebeka Abramovic poured in 22 for the Slovenians as they, too, imrpoved to 2-0.

Denmark and Bulgaria are 0-2 in Group E.

In Group F, Romania got 15 points from Cristina Bigica in a 49-37 triumph over Slovakia and Zera Butter poured in 20 points for the Netherlands in their 59-33 win over Finland.

All four teams are now 1-1.
