Group D: Russia, Ukraine Qualify With France

Chloe Westelynck's 20 points paced six players in double figures as France rolled past Ukraine 101-70 in Group D of the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women.

The French forced 27 turnovers to finish off the group with a perfect 3-0 record while Ukraine dropped to 1-2 but also advanced to the Qualifying Round.

Group D: France Top Russia, Ukraine Stun Greece

France used a 23-5 second half spurt to run away from Russia 87-68 and remain undefeated in Group D of the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women.

Margaux Okou Zouzouo led the way for the 2-0 French with 22 points and 11 rebounds while Diandra Tchatchouang registered a double-double of her own with 16 points and 14 rebounds and captain Allison Vernerey collected 19 points and seven rebounds.

Group D: Russia Outlast Ukraine, France Outclass Greece

Alexandra Tarasova and Viktoria Medvedeva combined for 52 points as Russia over-powered Ukraine 82-68 in the first day of action in Group D of the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women.

Russia used a 17-4 run between the third and fourth quarters to open a 72-55 lead with 6:45 to play, deciding the game.
