Ukraine revived their semi-final hopes and ended Poland's with a 69-55 victory in their last quarter-final Group F game.
Having been beaten in their opening two group games by the Czech Republic and Lithuania, Ukraine needed to win to stand any chance of making the final four.
The victory was never in doubt as they led for all but the opening two minutes, when Poland held a 3-0 advantage.
By half-time, Ukraine's stranglehold stood at 42-21 and, although Poland fought back bravely to close to within five points less than three minutes before the end of the third quarter, the victors had enough left to pull clear again.
Power forward Kateryna Dorogobuzova was the star of the show with a game-high 23 points, as well as 10 rebounds and three assists.
Olivia Tomialowicz had 20 points in a losing cause for the Poles, who won their group opener but have stumbled since.
