PLAYER HISTORY
Goran Jurak

Career: Celje (Slovenia-Division 1B, 1995-96), Lasko (Slovenia-Division 1A, 1996-2002), Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia-Division 1A, 2002-03), Olympiakos (Greece-ESAKE, 2003-04), Cantù (Italy-Lega, 2004-06), Union Olimpija (Slovenia-Division 1A, 2007), Climamio Bologna (Italy-Lega, 2007)

At the beginning of the year, it looked very unlikely that Jurak would even have a chance to be a member of the Slovenian National Team this summer because he didn’t play a single competitive game for six months. Then, after an unsuccessful tryout at Milano, he returned to Olimpija Ljubljana a move he quickly abandoned because there were so many problems at Slovenia’s most successful club. Jurak, a Slovenian junior record holder in swimming, found a new team when he moved to Climamio Bologna. While there, he again showed what he is the best at: fighting for every single ball.

  • Ranks #5 in Fouls (3.6)
