Wender Delivers Positive Message To Scottish Girls


The basketballtayside & fife Under-16 Girl’s Development League recently wrapped play in Scotland.

Year of Women's Basketball Project Manager Esther Wender was on hand for the final day of competition.

Esther Wender delived a positive message to the girls in attendance.
Wender delivered an inspirational message to the girls in attendance.
After completion of play at the U12 and U16 level, Wender handed out Year of Women's Basketball gifts and delivered a positive message about the benefits of women's basketball to the players in attendance.

The youngsters had numerous questions for Wender.

"Having a profile guest such as Esther has given girl’s basketball in the area a huge boost," said Pennie Ball, who is the Club Development Manager for basketball scotland. 

"It was inspirational for many of the young female players, who got to a rare chance to meet and speak to such a positive ambassador for the female game."
