|Hana Horakova will be in her first EuroLeague Women All Star Game|
FIBA Europe announced on Wednesday that Czech point guard Hana Horakova of Frisco Sika Brno will replace Becky Hammon in the EuroLeague Women All Star Game to be held in Gdynia, Poland on March 9th.
Hammon has ended her contractual obligations with her EuroLeague Women club Ros Casares and is thus unavailable for the All Star Game.
Horakova has been a regular contender in both national team competitions and the EuroLeague Women.
She made her first appearance in the EuroLeague Women for Brno in 2000 and has since played in every edition of the competition.
She is enjoying a stand-out season with her long time club, scoring 12.8 points per game to go with her 4.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
This summer she is hoping to lead the Czech National team to a succesful hosting of the World Championships.
