FIBA Europe has announced the list of participating teams for the EuroLeague Women season 2010/11. According to the regulations, defending champions Spartak Moscow Region Vidnoje receive an automatic entry while 21 places and two wild cards are allocated on the basis of the ranking of the federations and of the clubs in the last three (3) seasons of European Cup Competitions. Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (Poland) and USO Mondeville (France) have been allocated the two Wild Cards available for the 2010/2011 EuroLeague Women season. Last year's EuroCup Women champion, Sony Athinaikos (Greece) chose to register in the same competition for the coming season. The General Assembly of the EuroLeague Women Clubs and the Draw for the new season will take place on 3rd July 2010, in Munich, Germany.
