Russia kept their quarter-final hopes alive by topping Germany 80-51, claiming their first win in Group F at the U20 European Championship Women on Tuesday.
Germany, on the other hand, is headed to the Classification Games 9th - 16th place where they will fight for survival in Division A.
Using eight different scorers, Russia was on top from the get-go, building a lead that was as large as 15 (29-14) early in the second quarter.
The Germans cut the deficit to 38-35 at halftime, but Daria Namok hit two triples immediately after the break as Russia opened the third stanza with an 8-0 run, and never looked back.
Russia won big thanks to nailing 11 from behind the arc, and scoring 16 second chance points, compared to Germany's five.
Namok finished with 13 points in victory, Alina Zamaraeva scored 11, while Ksenia Tikhonenko had 10 points and nine rebounds.
Anna Heise scored 12 in defeat.
