What a Saturday evening that was... Israel, Lithuania, Serbia and Hungary added their names to the nine team-roster qualified for EuroBasket 2009 in Latvia. Turkey, Poland, France, Slovakia and Greece had already secured their qualifications.

The most exciting situation was between Ukraine and Hungary. Fegyverneky and her team-mates finally booked the last ticket, as the best third place team.

The end the road leading to EuroBasket 2009 in Latvia is near. With only three games (or two for some teams) remaining there are rising hopes and fears for all those involved.

Game Day Six was an opportunity for some teams to book their tickets to Riga. But their trips proved tricky. France suffered their first defeat in Slovakia (Group C) and the same fate met Turkey in Poland (Group B).Poland (Group B).
