Montenegro Top Georgia For First Victory

Montenegro opened their victory count in the U20 European Championship Classification Round for 13th to 16th Place after defeating Georgia, 81-65, in Stozice Arena in Ljubljana on Tuesday evening.

Marko Mugosa paced the winners with 21 points, Danilo Nikolic had a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Pavle Raickovic chipped in with 14 points and seven rebounds.

Duda Sanadze was the top scorer for Georgia with 22 points but only found help from Beka Burjanadze, who added 20 points and eight rebounds.

On Wednesday, Montenegro will try to make it two victories in a row in their game against Estonia, while Georgia will seek a first victory against Sweden.
