Slovenia clinched the top spot in Group D after handing Lithuania their second straight loss, 87-81, which allowed the hosts of the U20 European Championship to improve to 3-0, while Lithuania finished third in the group.
Using a height advantage in the post and Lithuania's lack of three-point shooting, Slovenia dominated from the very start of the game, building a 16-point advantage in the third quarter, 48-32.
Alen Omic abused the Lithuanian frontline in the paint, finishing the game with 20 points and seven rebounds, while Klemen Prepelic registered an impressive double-double of 19 points and 11 assists.
Vytenis Cizauskas was the top scorer for the Baltic side with 16 points and eight rebounds, but the Lithuanians struggled from the three-point line, making only 3-of-13 shots from beyond the arc.
The Slovenians continue their confident march at home and will start the Second Round with two victories in their account, while Lithuania will have the tough task of starting with none.
