|Edgaras Ulanovas led the balanced -and merciless- Lithuanian offense with 14 points|
Lithuania cruised past Turkey, 76-45, on Wednesday to stay in the hunt for a Quarter-Final spot at the U20 European Championship.
The Baltic side improve to a 2-3 record in Group F, same like Turkey, and now both teams have to wait for the result of the encounter between Slovenia and Spain.
The game was close only for the first eight minutes, when Lithuania went on an 18-0 run to take a 36-14 lead.
The Lithuanians didn't miss a beat even after Dovydas Redikas had to leave the game with a cut eyebrow and maintained a big lead throughout the game.
Edgaras Ulanovas had 14 points for Lithuania, Rokas Giedraitis scored 12, while Vytenis Cizauskas added 10 points and five assists.
The winners had a great shooting night, making 53.7 percent of their shots from the filed and hitting 11-of-21 shots from beyond the arc.
Samet Geyik was the only Turkish player in double-digits with 12 points, as the team made 18-of-66 field goals.
Lithuania now rely on Slovenia to defeat Spain in the last game of the day in Domzale, in order to qualify to the quarter-finals.
Turkey, on the other hand, need Spain to beat the hosts to make the next stage.
