FIBA Europe Announces Final Four Host Cities

FIBA Europe announced today that the EuroCup Final Four will take place in Kiev, Ukraine and that the EuroLeague Women Final Four will be held in Brno, Czech Republic.

The EuroCup Final Four will begin on April 7th with Dynamo St. Petersburg (RUS) taking on BC Khimki (RUS) and BC Kyiv (UKR) playing against DKV Joventut (ESP). The finals will be on April 9.

The EuroLeague Women Final Four in Brno will take place from 31 March to 2 April. The semi-final match-ups feature US Valenciennes Olympic (FRA) playing Gambrinus (CZE) and VBM-SGAU Samara (RUS) going up against Lietuvos Telekomas Vilnius (LTU).

“We are grateful to all the participating clubs that expressed their interest in organising the Final Fours,” said FIBA Europe President George Vassilakopoulos.

“It was a difficult decision choosing the host cities, but we feel that both Brno and Kiev will serve as the perfect setting for what certainly will be exciting and competitive Final Fours.”
