Elena Danilochkina – Russia and Nadezhda Orenburg

It was during EuroBasket Women 2011 when Elena Danilochkina burst on the scene with the Russian national team. After a rocky start into the tournament, head coach Boris Sokolovsky handed the 25-year old guard the reins on the point guard position and Danilochkina paid back the trust immediately. She finished the tournament with a gold medal around her neck and a MVP trophy in her hands after scoring a team-high 13.9 points per game, averaging 55% from three point land.
