The Appeals' Commission has the following duties:

a) To hear and decide on appeals filed by an affected party against decisions of FIBA-Europe, including its divisions and disciplinary bodies, unless such appeal is expressly excluded in the Statutes of FIBA, the Internal Regulations, these Bye-Laws or other regulations of FIBA-Europe;

b) To act as an arbitration panel for disputes within the context of European basketball if FIBA, FIBA-Europe or its respective organs or disciplinary bodies are not directly involved in such dispute;

c) To prepare, in consultation with the Legal Commission, the Regulations governing Appeals for approval by the Board of FIBA-Europe;

d) To consult with and to suggest to the World Commission for Legal Matters any amendments to these Bye-Laws, the Statutes and the Internal Regulations of FIBA or regulations of FIBA-Europe.
