|Zoi Dimitrakou arrives in Orenburg via Bourges and Kayseri|
Russian club Nadezhda are putting the finishing touches to their roster after revealing a string of new signings and also players who will be staying in situ for the 2013-14 EuroLeague Women season.
With Spanish shooting guard Anna Cruz and dynamic Greek forward Zoi Dimitrakou already announced as newcomers, Nadzehda have also inked deals with American duo Glory Johnson and Temeka Johnson who arrive from rival Russian clubs.
They both step up from EuroCup Women, with the former having contributed a mammoth 18.5 points and 13.2 rebounds with Chevakata and the latter an all-action 10.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.0 assists for Dynamo Kursk.
There will also be a glut of Russian players heading back to their former club after having adventures elsewhere, with Marina Kuzina, Tatiana Burik, Olga Ovcharenko and Natalie Myasoedova all pencilled in to head back to Orenburg.
Arguably the biggest signing for Lithuanian play-caller Algirdas Paulauskas, who will remain in the coaching hot-seat, is the continuation of star forward DeWanna Bonner.
Bonner was the do-it-all player last season, making a big impact in the wake of her switch from Rivas Ecopolis. She averaged a double-double in EuroLeague Women, registering 15.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.
Although with Bonner back on board, Nadezhda will have to decide which American players they are going to go with in the competition, since only two of the three on their books will be eligible to play.
Veteran guard Kelly Miller will also return to the club along with Russian trio Natalia Zhedik, Aleksandra Tarasova and Elena Danilochkina.
Although notably, Danilochkina announced her intention to start a family earlier this year, which was one of the primary reasons she missed EuroBasket Women 2013.
Nadezhda are in Group B and will tangle with Fenerbahce, BK Imos Brno, Wisla Can-Pack, Rivas Ecopolis, UE Sopron and Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration.
