Spain have all-but confirmed their place in the final eight at the Samsung U18 European Championship with a 65-52 win over Greece in Second Round action on Monday.
Should Lithuania defeat Ukraine later on Monday then Spain can stamp their ticket to the Quarter-Finals with two days to spare.
The situation however is a little less promising for Greece, who need to win both of their remaining two games to have any chance of advancing.
Following a day off, both teams were struggling to find their offensive rhythm early on in a first half riddled with poor shooting.
Spain began the second half the stronger of the two sides but Greece still could not be shaken.
However, in the final quarter Greece were finally made to pay for their 26.7 percent shooting from the field as Spain shot at a smidgen under 50% in the last 10 minutes to pull away and win with some comfort.
Oriol Pauli topped Spanish scoring with 15 points and added seven boards.
Sebastian Saiz picked up 11 whilst Ilimane Diop contributed 10 points from the bench.
Dimitrios Agravanis was the only Greek player to make double figures, scoring 13 points.
