Bulgaria will return to the top eight of the European U18 Championship for the first time since 2006 following a convincing 84-65 win over an under-strength Croatian team.
With top place in Group F already wrapped up prior to Wednesday's final Second Round game, Croatia coach Jaksa Vulic decided to rest influential forwards Dario Saric and Mislav Brzoja.
Even knowingly taking on an under-strength opponent, Bulgaria can still take plenty of encouragement from the encounter, namely their ability to close out a game for the first time in the tournament.
Leading the tournament in three-pointers made, Bulgaria produced another healthy display from outside the arc, knocking down eight-of-21.
Aleksandar Vezenkov ended as Bulgaria's leading scorer with 17 points and seven rebounds.
Nikolay Grozev was next best with 14 whilst Kris Minkov chipped in with 12.
Croatia's Jakov Mustapic finished as leading scorer with 25 points.
