Spain cruised to an 84-59 victory over Ukraine on Friday to book a place in the Second Round at the Samsung European U18 Championship.
Trailing at the end of the opening quarter, Spain took the lead on a Josep Perez lay-up early in the second frame, and did not lose it for the remainder of the evening.
Ukraine were guilty of conceding too many fouls, giving up 37 free-throws, 21 of which the Spanish converted.
In the mean time, Spain only allowed Ukraine to step up to the charity stripe five times.
Guillermo Hernangomez and Perez dominated offensively for Spain, finishing with 24 and 21 points respectively.
Ilimane Diop lead rebounding with 12, alongside eight points.
Igor Boyarkin was the only Ukrainian player to make double figures, ending with 13 points.
Spain have the opportunity to maintain a perfect record when they play Serbia on Saturday, whilst Ukraine face Germany.
