England outscored the Czech Republic by 14 points in the fourth quarter to run out 85-62 winners in their classification game for 9th to 12th place at the U18 European Championship on Saturday night.
Radovan Kouril scored six points as the Czech Republic got off to a quick start before Luke Nelson provided England with 10 of his own. Kingsley Okoroh nabbed seven rebounds to help England build a commanding advantage on the glass and in the second-chance scoring category to establish a seven-point lead at the half.
England scored 24 fourth-quarter points while holding the Czech Republic to just nine en route to the 23-point victory.
The English also benefited from 31 second-chance points and 25 Czech turnovers.
Nelson scored a game-high 22 points and Jules Dang Akodo added 12.
Jiri Soula topped the Czech Republic with 15 points.
