|Paolo Marinelli and Croatia flew high over England|
Croatia secured second position in First Round Group D of the U18 European Championship on Saturday night with an 89-65 victory over England in Liepaja.
Croatia dominated almost every statistical category and featured three scorers with 15 or more points.
England failed to live up to its performance from the night before - an historic first ever win at a U18 European Championship against Ukraine - as guard Luke Nelson was forced to deliver more than half of the team's points late into the third quarter.
Shooting below 20% throughout the first quarter, England struggled from the onset as four Croatian players threatened to hit the double-figure scoring mark before halftime.
Tomislav Gabric led Croatia with 21 points while Karlo Zganec and Dorian Jelenek had 19 and 16 points respectively.
Nelson's game-high 25 points proved to be England's lone highlight.
