Evanthia Maltsi-Greece and ZVVZ USK Prague

Maltsi was, as usual, the leading light for Greece in their successful qualification for EuroBasket Women 2009, averaging 20.5 points per game.  The 1.80m forward averaged 7.4 points and 2.5 assists for EuroLeague Women powerhouse Ros Casares.  In the off-season she made the move to EuroLeague Women side USK Prague.
