|Laura Nicholls was the backbone in Rivas Ecopolis' success, finishing with a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double|
EuroLeague Women clubs Rivas Ecopolis, Good Angels Kosice and Wisla Can-Pack all walked away with their respective domestic championships over the weekend and in the case of the former, it was a landmark moment.
NICHOLLS PROPELS RIVAS TO HISTORY
A double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds from Spanish national team forward, Laura Nicholls handed Rivas Ecopolis a 62-59 success against Perfumerias Avenida as they took the series 2-0 against the defending champions.
Having won on the road, Rivas finished the job at home and sparked a celebration which lasted long into the night as they celebrated securing their first Liga Femenina Championship in their relatively brief, but illustrious history.
It was a sweet moment for all involved and not least, head coach Jose Hernandez who is synonymous with women's basketball in Salamanca. However, now he has written yet another chapter for himself in Spanish women's basketball history after taking down his hometown team.
The play-caller and his troops gained sweet revenge for their Copa De La Reina loss recently and for also just missing out on the Championship to their arch rivals last year.

WISLA REGAIN TITLE, WINNICKI LEAVES POLKOWICE
Wisla Can-Pack regained their Polish Championship crown after taking the five-game series against main rivals CCC Polkowice down to the wire.
11th HEAVEN FOR GOOD ANGELS
Good Angels Kosice continued their utter dominance of the women's basketball landscape in the Slovak Republic after clinching their eleventh successive Championship.
This time however, Kosice were always on top and led by as many as 20 points, although they did have to survive a salvage mission from the home team which brought them to within seven points.
However, Good Angels held on and led by rising star Barbara Balintova who had 15 points, and forward Lynetta Kizer who also had 15 points as well as 13 rebounds, Kosice continued their domestic silverware streak.
