FIBA Europe statement regarding games in Israel

20 March 2003

Due to the escalation of war in Iraq and the impact on security and safety concerns for games taking place in Israel, it has been decided that the following 2 Champions Cup matches will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria.

E-11 Hapoel Samsung Tel Aviv v. Aris BSA Thessaloniki on 25th March 2003

F-12 Bnei SK Hasharon Raanana v. Bipop Carire Reggio Emilia on 25th March 2003

The exact game times and venue will be communicated in due course.
