| 18 July 2012 EUROLEAGUE WOMEN | | Tijana Krivacevic joins Good Angels Kosice in the hope of getting more playing time in the upcoming EuroLeague Women season |
Good Angels Kosice have signed Hungary international Tijana Krivacevic. The 22-year-old, a former Sopron power forward/center, joined Rivas Ecopolis in the middle of the 2011-12 campaign on loan and helped the Spaniards reach the final of the EuroLeague Women. Krivacevic had played a lot of minutes for Sopron but her court time decreased substantially at Rivas. In nine games with Sopron, the 1.92m Krivacevic averaged 24.7 minutes per game and after her switch to Rivas, she averaged 11.00. "Her biggest strength is definitely versatility," Good Angels Kosice general manager Daniel Jendrichovský said.
MONDELO LEAVES FOR CHINESE CLUB Lucas Mondelo guided Perfumerias Avenida to their finest hour, leading them to the 2011 EuroLeague Women title. Now the tactician, who is also the coach of Spain Women and just steered the national team into EuroBasket Women 2013, has decided to leave the Salamanca club and take up a new challenge in China. Mondelo is to lead Shanxi Xing Rui Flame, a side that USA international and former Ros Casares star Maya Moore will play for. Perfumerias Avenida said in a statement: "Following this mutually agreed decision, all of us in the great family of Perfumerias Avenida wish him the best of luck in his new career and future projects." |
