The versatile and intense Daria Mieloszynska provides Poland with a good threat on the wings who contributes in each area for the good of the team. She can do a little bit of everything in almost every category and crucially, she can make a big shot, especially from downtown during crunch time. She enjoyed a reasonable performance at EuroBasket Women 2009 and has since played both EuroCup Women and EuroLeague Women. She suffered a little with Lotos Gdynia during what was a difficult year in Europe but made up for it by winning the Polish Cup against Energa Torun. She is very definitely an important player for the team. In fact, if she is fully fit and firing on all cylinders, she can be one of the most influential members of the roster.
