|Will go to work under the hoops in Kosice: Yelena Leuchanka|
One of the most recognisable faces in the European women's game is returning to EuroLeague Women after a year playing in China.
Belarussian star Yelena Leuchanka has been handed a short-term deal by last years' semi-finalists Good Angels Kosice, which will see her playing with the Slovak Republic Champions until January 2014 - although an extension may be negotiated.
And, the arrival of Leuchanka is very much to the liking of Good Angels General Manager, Daniel Jendrichovsky.
He said, "Along with Plenette Pierson and Tijana Krivacevic, the installation of Leuchanka forms a great trio, perhaps even stronger than we were last season.
"The arrival of the experienced 30-year-old certainly provides worth compensation for the departure of Petra Kulichova."
Leuchanka averaged a double-double playing with Liaoning in the WCBA, racking up 18.7 points and 11.1 rebounds per game during her brief stint in Asia.
Good Angels will become the sixth club she has represented in the competition, having also pulled on the vests of TEO Vilnius, UMMC Ekaterinburg, Galatasaray, Gorzow and Wisla Can-Pack.
Leuchanka is also a cornerstone of the Belarus national team and recently helped them to attain a fifth place finish at EuroBasket Women 2013 in France, by accumulating 11.0 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.
