Ukrainian club BC Kyiv have signed American duo John Celestand and Steve Goodrich - both of whom have previously played in the NBA.
Centre Celestand, 26, who was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 1999 out of Villanova and played 16 games for the club, spent the best part of last season with German side ALBA Berlin.
Former Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards power forward Goodrich has had previous European experience with Turkish outfit BC Darussafaka, leaving them at the end of the last campaign.
The pair will officially be unveiled to the club’s supporters on November 7. The terms of both contracts have yet to be disclosed.
BC Kyiv reached the domestic semi-finals in 2002-03 and have made a good start to the new season with seven wins in eight games.
